Haval has introduced a new FWD (front-wheel-drive) variant of the Haval H6 PHEV in Pakistan. The new variant will sit below the existing H6 PHEV AWD in terms of price, performance, and drivetrain capability.
What Is Different in the New H6 PHEV Variant?
The biggest difference in the new H6 PHEV variant is its drivetrain and powertrain.
The current H6 PHEV comes with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that uses two electric motors. In comparison, the new lower trim features a single electric motor and a front-wheel-drive (FWD) system.
Because of this setup, the new trim produces less power than the AWD version. It also uses a DHT-1 transmission instead of the DHT-3 transmission used in the AWD model.
However, the new lower trim offers a slightly longer electric-only driving range and a slightly greater combined driving range.

Apart from the drivetrain and performance figures, the new FWD variant remains unchanged.
According to the company, its exterior, interior, and safety features are the same as those offered in the current H6 PHEV AWD.
