Krishnakumar Kunnath, widely known as KK, one of the most prominent Bollywood playback singers, died on Tuesday night in Kolkata at the age of 53.

According to preliminary reports, KK was doing a live presentation at a college. Suddenly he became unwell and was transported to CMRI hospital.
At the hospital, he was pronounced dead. KK’s autopsy will be performed tomorrow, but reports say he died of a heart attack.

The famous vocalist has recorded songs in a variety of languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali. Krishnakumar Kunnath’s career includes successful songs such as Tadap Tadap (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, 1999), Dus Bahane (Dus, 2005), and Tune Maari Entriyaan (Gunday, 2014).
