ISLAMABAD: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, where he was warmly received by faculty members and students.
During a special session, the DG ISPR discussed Pakistan’s internal security, defence matters, and the professional role of the Pakistan Army. He also briefed students on distinguishing between social media propaganda and verified facts.
The Vice-Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University highlighted that the DG ISPR’s statements regarding India had been validated internationally, noting Pakistan Armed Forces’ capability to counter advanced Indian technology.
Students and faculty described the session as highly informative, saying it clarified many previously unanswered questions.
Speaking on the occasion, students emphasized their national identity, stating, “We are Pakistanis first, and the Pakistan Army is part of us.” They also expressed gratitude to the DG ISPR for providing detailed answers to their questions on misinformation and media narratives.
The visit underscored efforts to engage youth in understanding national security and the strategic role of Pakistan’s armed forces.
