K-Pop star EVAN drops snippets of debut solo song ‘RIDE OR DIE’

EVAN is set to perform at the 2026 Busan One Asia Festival

Former ENHYPEN member “EVAN” has shared early previews of his upcoming solo debut song “RIDE OR DIE” on his social media accounts.

He posted the snippets by giving fans a first look before the official release on June 22. The single will include two tracks titled “Ride or Die” and “Overflow.”

EVAN has taken a major role in the project. He wrote, composed, and produced both songs. He also worked on the visual concept of the release, showing his involvement in both music and creative direction.

The title track “Ride or Die” is an alternative rock song with a mix of pop rock and hyper pop sounds. The song focuses on strong emotions of love, longing, and attachment toward someone special. The track carries a message dedicated to fans who have supported him.

The second song, “Overflow,” has a softer indie pop sound. It is inspired by the image of water filling and spilling from a glass. EVAN uses this idea as a symbol for deep and mixed emotions.

The phrase “RIDE OR DIE” is an English expression that means standing by someone no matter what. EVAN’s solo work as a reflection of his personal style and musical direction. He also known as a versatile singer with a smooth and modern voice.

EVAN originally debuted in 2020 as Heeseung, a member of the K-pop group ENHYPEN. He left the group on March 10 after discussions about his future direction. He wanted to follow his own creative path. ENHYPEN continues as a six member group with Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki.

After his solo release, EVAN is set to perform at the 2026 Busan One Asia Festival on June 26. He will also appear at “KCON LA 2026” on August 16, continuing his activities as a solo artist.
