As per the initial reports, in the Teen Talwar monument, Karachi, robbers robbed 1.5 kg of gold and Rs 85 thousand cash from a jewelry shop. The police were unable to identify the robbers.
Police launched the investigation as soon as they were informed about the robbery. The police officials expressed doubts over the robbery after recording the initial statement by the jeweler.
According to the police officials, the glass door was linked with the electronic operating system, and they were locked even after the robbery. The robbers arrived in the shop without breaking the glass door. All four locks of the shop were missing.
In May this year, in Teen Talwar monument, Karachi, the biggest-ever robbery of the present year had been reported in the city, where approximately 12kg gold was robbed from a jewelry shop which cost over Rs100 million, however, the robbers were not identified.
Clifton Police registered the FIR (First Information Report) of Asif (the shop owner), the complaint states that on 3rd May, the owner closed his shop before Iftaar and returned to his home.
