KARACHI: Karachi woke up to a blanket of dark clouds Wednesday as light rain and drizzle swept parts of the city overnight, offering residents a welcome break from the usual heat and humidity and keeping the morning weather pleasant.
The temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius and is expected to climb to 32 degrees Celsius during the day.
Humidity stood at 80%, while winds were blowing at around 15 kilometers per hour, keeping the weather cool and breezy in several areas.

Light rain and drizzle were reported in Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, the Old City area, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Korangi and Defence. Similar conditions are expected to continue in different parts of the city.
The weather department said the cloudy conditions and intermittent drizzle could provide further relief from Karachi’s warm and humid weather throughout the day.
