RAWALPINDI: Libya Deputy Commander in Chief visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and held an important meeting with Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including defence cooperation, regional security, and ways to strengthen military ties between Pakistan and Libya. The visit reflects the growing relationship between the two countries and their commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields. Upon arrival at GHQ, the visiting dignitary was presented a Guard of Honor by a smartly turned-out-tri services contingent.

The Field Marshal highlighted Pakistan Army commitment to promoting peace, stability and constructive engagement with friendly countries. The visiting dignitary appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their contributions towards regional peace and security.
