OGRA has issued notification of new LPG prices for December 2025, according to which the price of LPG has been significantly increased.
According to the notification, LPG has been increased by Rs 7.39 per kg. The price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has increased from Rs 1,891 to Rs 1,978, meaning that each cylinder has become expensive for consumers by Rs 87.21.
The LPG producer price has also increased by Rs 7,390 per ton, from Rs 160,300 to Rs 167,691 per ton.
Similarly, the consumer price has also been increased by Rs 7,390 per tonne, from Rs 201,600 to Rs 208,991 per tonne. The price of an 11.8 kg consumer cylinder has increased from Rs 2,378 to Rs 2,466.
OGRA further says that LPG prices are linked to Saudi Aramco CP and the dollar rate. The recent 4.93% increase in Saudi Aramco CP has been cited as the main reason for the price hike.
