Rajab Butt is a popular Pakistani social media creator, known for his family vlogs, love-themed live sessions, and frequent controversies. He gained fame through energetic YouTube videos featuring his family and friends. Today, he has over 8.1 million YouTube subscribers and 2.7 million Instagram followers. Rajab and Emaan Rajab welcomed their first child in 2025. Despite his popularity, he has faced legal issues in Pakistan and is currently staying abroad.

Rajab’s mother often speaks publicly to address criticism over his controversial statements, viral drunk videos, and inappropriate live conversations. Recently, she revealed the “pious reason” behind his TikTok live sessions.

She said, “I allowed him to go live because he wanted to help the poor. That was his only intention. Thanks to Allah, I feel content with his fame and respect. This is not a game — we have voice messages from people who received rations and money. He has even helped marry off several girls. I sent money to orphaned children this morning through Rajab’s friends, and they sent prayers in return. These prayers are what he truly needs.”

She continued, “When TikTok live started, I didn’t know what it was. My children introduced it to me, and I told them we don’t need to beg online. Rajab said everyone is doing it, but I told him even if the whole world is doing it, we won’t. Then he said he would do it only for charity, so I allowed him. But I was shocked to hear the abusive words used by some girls — it was unbelievable. I told him many times to stop going live. I even have voice notes I can share. Hearing such language hurt my ears. He has promised to stop once he returns to Pakistan.”

Rajab Butt’s mother emphasizes that his live sessions were intended solely for charity and helping people in need, despite the controversies surrounding them.
