Suicide bomber Shari Baloch was mentally ill: Bushra Rind

KARACHI: Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) women assembly members on Thursday said that Baloch women have always played remarkable role in making history and claimed that the suicide woman bomber Shari Baloch was mentally unstable.

Talking to the media, Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal maintained that it is crucial to investigate the triggering element behind Shari’s extreme step.

Jalal also maintained that she condemns the video statement issued by Baloch Liberation Army calling out the Chinese to seize their work.

BAP leader Bushra Rind opined that no Baloch national could even think of taking such step by saying that the terror attack was actually a conspiracy to push Baloch women towards backwardness.

“External powers will never be able to diminish our love for our country,” she added.

While elucidating about Shari’s case, she said that her mental illness was admitted by her husband, Habitan Bashir Baloch who was arrested in a raid yesterday.

Bushra Rind also claimed that the suicide bomber was severely depressed due to domestic issues and this triggered her enough to take the step.
