PCB appoints Serena Agha as its first Director of Human Resources

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) named Serena Agha as the organization’s first Director – Human Resources on Monday.

The PCB said in a statement that she will start working at the Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, May 20.

Serena graduated from Kinnaird College University Lahore with a Bachelors in Computer Sciences and Business Administration and an MSc in Human Resource Management from Birkbeck College, University of London. And also have 15 years of work experience.

Serena is also certified by Project Management Professional (PMP), a Managing Successful Programs (MSP) Professional, and a coach who recently completed a short course at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Serena has worked in multicultural cultures such as Pakistan, the Middle East, and Africa, and has a wide range of HR experience. Serena’s main operating areas include talent acquisition and management, succession planning, services and processes organizational design, rewards & benefits, and training & development.

Serena’s last assignment was with a local Manufacturing organization as Group Head of HR and two Kenyan companies as a consultant

Serena’s most recent assignments were as Group Head of HR for a local manufacturing company and as a consultant for two Kenyan firms.
