Khan is seen speaking with people and touring the destroyed areas in images tweeted by the court.
“The views of individuals who have been affected by alleged crimes must be at the heart of our impartial investigation into the facts”. Survivors and victims’ families will be full partners in our attempts to bring justice to the victims,” Khan added.
Khan met with Ukrainian Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova in Kyiv on Wednesday to discuss collaborating on an independent ICC inquiry.
According to the ICC, Khan and Venediktova promised to increase their commitment and enhance their alliances. In order to bring responsibility for international crimes committed in Ukraine.
On March 2, the International Criminal Court (ICC) formally launched an inquiry into the situation in Ukraine.
