Famous video and comedy content creator Warda Malik opened up about her high income and societal pressure during a podcast on a private TV channel.

In the candid interview, Warda revealed that her journey into TikTok was not for fame, but out of necessity to support her brother’s wedding, manage household expenses, and take care of her father. She explained that she had only two options: marry a wealthy man and endure his oppression, or step out and earn on her own. “I chose the latter,” she said, highlighting her determination to be financially independent.

Reflecting on the constant criticism and backlash, Warda admitted that negative comments have become an inevitable part of her life. “Whether we do good or bad, people curse us. No respectable person enjoys this. It’s painful, but it comes with the territory,” she said. She recalled hurtful remarks made about her at a recent wedding but emphasized her commitment to continue creating content responsibly.

Warda also discussed the challenges she faces from her family due to her career choice, but financial responsibilities and personal circumstances compel her to continue. Addressing false rumors circulating online, Warda clarified that some people had created fake profiles using her pictures, falsely claiming she had been married three times and had children.

“These lies unfairly damage my character despite the good work I do,” she said. She added that her work exists solely to support her family: “If I got married, I would still have to manage household chores. I make videos to earn and feed my family, I am not harming anyone, disrespecting anyone, or breaking anyone’s heart. This is my own work, and I am not destroying anyone’s home or insulting anyone. I just want to manage my profile responsibly.”

Talking about her income, Warda revealed the reality behind her financial success. She shared that she once returned from Dubai to work in Pakistan earning only PKR 25,000 with long, exhausting hours. “Alhamdulillah, now I earn PKR 6 to 7 lakhs per month, and in my best month, up to PKR 10 lakhs. This allows me to support my family without depending on anyone,” she said.

Talking about her personal life, Warda reflected, “When I look at my family, everything feels right and meaningful. But when I see myself, I feel I’ve lost peace. I bring peace to others, yet negativity and hate keep growing. You may think you’re protecting your family or dreams, but in the end, you may lose your own sense of self.”

Her interview sheds light on the pressures social media influencers face, balancing public scrutiny, personal responsibilities, and false narratives, all while striving to maintain dignity and provide for their loved ones.

“The rumors are loud, but my truth is louder,” Warda concluded, sending a powerful message to her fans about honesty, hard work, and family responsibility.
