Veteran Pakistani actor Ayub Khoso has shared a fascinating and humorous story about how he first entered the showbiz industry.
During an appearance on a private TV morning show, the senior actor revealed that his entry into PTV was not driven by a passion for acting, but rather by a different kind of motivation.
When asked by the host how he got his start at PTV, Khoso smiled and confessed, "I used to go to PTV just to see beautiful girls." He recalled a chance encounter with PTV's General Manager, Karim Baloch, who asked him why he was there. Khoso candidly replied that he was "just roaming around." Amused, Baloch then asked if he was only there to hang around or if he wanted to act in a drama. Ayub Khoso quickly expressed his desire to act, and that day marked the beginning of his career in Baloch dramas.
Ayub Khoso also spoke about his family's reaction and his father's aspirations for him. He said his parents weren't overly concerned but his father worried that he might lose his way and abandon his education. While Khoso did complete his studies, he was unable to fulfill his father's dream. "My father wanted me to become a bureaucrat," he shared.
However, once he entered the world of art, he couldn't turn back and has remained in the field ever since.
