PM gives approval to launch of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Information Portal

Prime Minister Imran Khan approved  the launch of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Information Portal, making public the details of disbursements to ensure transparency.

While chairing a meeting, PM Imran said we are making utmost efforts to provide financial help to those people who are more affected due to the pandemic situation of the coronavirus.

The Premier emphasized that Ehsaas Cash Emergency Programme was transparent and merit-based, he also hailed the efforts of his Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Sania Nishtar for leading the initiative effectively.

Later Sania Nishtar said in a Tweet that Prime Minister Imran Khan has reviewed the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Information Portal.

Earlier today, Dr Sania Nishter informed that disbursements of Rs. 65.249 billion have been made to 5.437 million families across the country under Ehsaas Emergency Cash program.
