Thailand has not reported any new coronavirus case since March 9. The country has a total of 3,017 COVID-19 cases and the virus killed 56 people since the outbreak increased in January.

A spokesman for the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, Taweesin Wisanuyothin said, the government asked the public to wear masks and maintain social distancing

Taweesin also said, southern Thailand has been a large figure of the coronavirus cases.

The areas of the country are still at risk include Bangkok and nearby provinces, Taweesin added.

2,844 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Thailand and there are 117 active cases in the country.

The shopping malls, restaurants, gyms and other businesses are closed in the country but now the government will reopen the shopping malls from next week.
