ANF recovers drug worth Rs 2.5 crore from Mianwali

Mianwali’s biggest drug smuggling attempt in history thwarted, ANF officials say.

According to the details, 408 kg of high quality hashish and 48 kg of opium were recovered from Mianwali.

The sources said that drug was recovered from a truck near Head Paka on MM Road, Mianwali.

The value of the drugs exported in the local market is close to Rs 2.5 crore, ANF officials said.

The sources further said that accused truck driver Khair Mohammad from Bannu was arrested and a case was registered.
