PM Imran Khan has directed to formulate an integrated strategy for awarding scholarships to students.

According to details, PM Imran Khan has met Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood. Dr Atta-ur-Rehman has also participated in the meeting through video link.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister directed Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman to formulate a plan and formulate an integrated strategy for awarding scholarships to outstanding students.

The Prime Minister further said that steps should be taken to inform the young students with the Sira of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the enlightened aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), his Companions and the shining chapter of Islamic history.

The meeting also discussed issues related to the promotion of education in the country, especially online education and attracting students to religious education and science and providing better opportunities for modern education.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister has also encouraged the students to pursue scientific studies in accordance with the requirements of modern times.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan praised his team for being among the first to impose ‘smart lockdown’ across Pakistan.

The prime minister shared a link of the article of  Bloomberg and wrote, “My team was amongst the first to enforce smart lockdowns.”
