International Center of Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi here on Thursday announced admission open to its post graduate programs.

According to the details, ICCBS has announced the admissions for its M.Phil and Ph.D programs -2020 and students can be enrolled for the new semesters now.

ICCBS spokesman said, the intending candidates can fill and submit admission forms with scanned copies of required mark sheets through online admission portal www.uokadmission.edu.pk till July 19, 2020.

It is to be noted that due to current situation during COVID-19 pandemic all candidates would be excused from admission test.

The sources said that candidates have been advised to download prospectus 2020 and fee voucher via www.uokadmission.edu.pk and that applicants must also submit a non-refundable processing fee worth Rs. 4,500/- at any of the branches of United Bank Limited (UBL).

Earlier, Karachi University’s management has removed late fees of currently enrolled students who cannot submit their fees till the deadline.

According to the details, the last date of fee submission is July 20, 2020 but management has decided that if a student is not able to pay the fee then late fee charges will not be charged.

The sources said that the University of Karachi has extended the waiver in the late fee to facilitate students who could not submit their fees due to the coronavirus pandemic.
