Usman Dar, Zartaj Gul & Shibli Faraz urges people to join PM’s tree plantation campaign

The biggest plantation campaign will be launched today by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Special Assistant to PM on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and federal minister for Climate Change Zartaj Gul has urged everyone to take part in the initiative.

Federal Minister for information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz said on Sunday that planting trees is Sunnah of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W).

In a recent tweet, he encourage everyone to take part in this good dead.

“Participate in this good deed and make Prime Minister Imran Khan’s tree planting project a success.”

Usman Dar has asked opposition politicians Shehbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto, Khawaja Asif, and others to take part in the drive.

He had earlier said, “The Sindh government should [join us in] favor of national interest”.

He said on Saturday that the drive will begin from Islamabad whereas CM Punjab Usman Buzdar will lead the campaign from Sialkot. 

In a tweet, he said yesterday,  “A nationwide tree-planting campaign is being launched on the occasion of Tiger Force Day. Tiger Force volunteers, members of the National and Provincial Assemblies will take part in the campaign. We are committed to making Pakistan green and prosperous.”

On the other hand, Federal minister Zartaj Gul has earlier urged the youngsters to be a part of this initiative and plant maximum trees on “Plant for Pakistan Day”.

She shared a video message on Twitter in which she said, “I have a belief that whenever our youth joins any movement it becomes successful. I request the youth to fully participate in the one-day plantation to make it a success”.
