The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday in a statement that the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will be arriving in Pakistan tomorrow (12 January 2021) on a two-day official visit.

According to the details, the Turkish Foreign Minister will hold bilateral talks with Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. During the visit, Mevlut Cavusoglu will also meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Alvi.

The two Foreign Ministers will review the entire span of bilateral relations and will discuss regional and international issues.

It is pertinent to mention here that this is the third visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister in the last two and a half years and it is a part of “regular high-level exchanges between the two countries”.

“The fraternal relations between Pakistan and Turkey are deeply embedded in common faith, culture, and history and underpinned by exceptional mutual trust and respect,” said the foreign office.
