Captain Sir Tom Moore, who is popularly known as “Captain Tom” has succumbed with coronavirus.

According to the details, the 100-year-old Captain Sir Tom Moore was a British Army officer and centenarian, known for his achievements raising almost £33m for charity in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the coronavirus pandemic who raised.

Captain Sir Tom Moore was taken to Bedford Hospital after requiring help with his breathing on Sunday.

The Queen of Britain led tributes to Capt Sir Tom, “recognising the inspiration he provided for the whole nation and others across the world”.

Capt Sir Tom daughters said they “shared laughter and tears” in their final few hours together.

He tested positive for Coronavirus last week. He had not had the vaccine.

He was knighted by the Queen in July in a special ceremony at Windsor Castle.
