The Saudi Ministry of Tourism and the Saudi Entertainment Authority are jointly organising winter entertainment programmes in August and September, incorporating activities during Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations here.

The expected winter programmes will be held in coastal and mountainous areas with precautionary measures in which the local population along with their families, expatriates from Pakistan, India and the Philippines will attend. Events will also be organised in collaboration with the Pakistan Consulate.

It has been noted that last year’s winter entertainment could not be held due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, however, health and related agencies managed to contain the outbreak through adequate safety measures.

On the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day different programmes will be held, which includes recitation of national anthems, children tableaus, art and cultural shows, food and children sports on the eve of August 14. The formal announcement, in this regard, will be made soon.

Nosheen Waseem of Saudi Entertainment Authority always try to include people from other countries and their families living here with the Saudi people in accordance with the instructions of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which had always been appreciated by the expatriates in the kingdom.
