The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Punjab and Sindh.

The price went up after the rupee devalued against the US dollar. The new price of CNG in Sindh has been fixed at Rs150 per kilo, while in Punjab it will be Rs112 per kilo.

However, the Chairman All Pakistan CNG Association, Ghiyas Paracha has opposed the price hike.

Earlier, OGRA also increased Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price up to Rs9.58 per kilo.

The price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder for domestic consumers has been increased from Rs113 to Rs202, according to a notification.
