Afghanistan to receive the second batch of aid with relief goods and medicines from Pakistan.
The second C-130 aircraft carrying relief goods shipment including medicines, utensils, and food items from Pakistan landed at Kandahar Airport on Friday.
The delivery was given to the representative of the Governor of Kandahar in a ceremony at the airport.
The ceremonial was also attended by elders of the community, chambers of commerce, media, and other VIPs.
The president of Kandahar Chambers of Commerce and Industries was also present along with other office conveyors.
The dignitaries, in their speeches, thanked the people and the Government of Pakistan for the relief aid.
They further uttered that such cooperation would also continue in the future.
Pakistan stood with the Afghans in that hour of need and safeguarded full collaboration to support bilateral relations, stated Consul General of Pakistan Naeem Khan thanking all the dignitaries for their participation.
Whereas, the first C-130 aircraft transporting relief goods had reached Kabul Airport yesterday.
Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan called it just a start.
Furthermore, He said two more flights carrying relief goods would be organized for Kandahar and Khost on Friday and Saturday.
