England’s players have withdrawn from the remaining Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 matches that were starting from 19th September at United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As per the details, Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, and Chris Woakes have withdrawn from IPL due to the fear of Covid-19, as the Test match between India and England was called off at Old Trafford Test.

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) faced a loss of £31 million after the cancellation of the Test match.

Previously, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Jofra Archer had already withdrawn from the remaining matches of the IPL.
