The story sharing application, Snapchat, has been reported as suffering a global outage preventing users from sending or sharing stories and messages. The application’s inaccessibility has left Snapchatters complaining in fury.

After multiple global outages of websites including Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and Messenger; Snapchat followed the suit of the aforementioned social media applications and stopped working today on October 13th, according to the reports.

The website status application, Downdetector has been receiving numerous complaints regarding the app’s crash.

The company on the other hand, is telling its users to remain calm as the website is under maintenance.

Following the two major outage disruptions of the leading social media applications, Snapchat is now the centre of memes at the hands of content creators. Moreover, Snapchatters are constantly complaining and due to another social media application outage, Snapchat has made it to the micro-blogging site, Twitter’s trending column, with the hashtags ‘snapchatdown’.
