NASA: Hubble Telescope witnesses extraordinary star formation

Recently, NASA uploaded a photo taken by its Hubble Telescope, capturing a stunning star formation nebula. The US space agency posted the photo on Instagram showing the region where infant stars are currently in formation. The twinkling stars containing hues of red and blue are seen aligned one after the other. The stars are shown sparkling like diamonds as the sunrays make its way between them.

NASA’s photo of stars shows that the distance of the aforementioned star-formation region could be about 13,000 light years from the planet Earth. The region on the other hand, has been reported of sharing vague resemblance with Orion Nebula, which is the nearest to our planet, and is easily visible from naked eye.

NASA’s discovery

The space apparatus, Hubble Telescope was launched in 1990. It is known for supervising activities of stars in the galaxy as it captures their performance and longevity there. The telescope has made more than a million observations till date. Furthermore, the giant apparatus is owned and run by space agencies of America and Europe.
