ISLAMABAD: As a sequel to e-Kachehries held on a monthly basis to comply with the directives of the prime minister, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman and Revenue Division secretary Dr Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed held an e-Kachehri at the FBR headquarters to listen to the complaints and concerns of the taxpayers.

The complainants interacted directly with the FBR chairman who listened to their complaints and issued on the spot directives for their resolution.

Dr Ahmed appreciated the suggestions put forth by the taxpayers and assured them that their suggestions would be considered for formulation of the tax policies and initiatives for the taxpayers.

He reaffirmed that the revenue board was taking all possible steps to facilitate the taxpayers. He also advised the taxpayers to visit their nearest Regional Tax Office (RTO) and Collectorate of Customs to get rid of any of their problems.

The FBR chairman has already instructed all the field formations to resolve the outstanding issues of taxpayers and made it clear that any negligence, in this regard, will not be tolerated.
