A herd of cows has been roaming the streets of a Hawaiian hamlet for weeks, according to residents.

On Halloween, at least three cows were seen wandering through private yards in Makakilo, and local lady Feena Bonoan captured the film and shared it on Facebook.

As per Bonoan, “Are you missing cows in Makakilo?”

On another occasion, a local claimed to have seen at least ten cows in the Makakilo community park.

The cows have been straying for weeks, according to locals.

Resident Carlos Ochoa tells the media, “It’s one of those things that every afternoon or every early morning you hear them mooing for the deck.”

He added, “And it’s pretty neat, you know, I am from Texas so it’s like it reminds me of home.”

The cow owners are attempting to tame the bovines, according to Nicole Galase, managing director of the Hawaii Cattlemen’s Council.

According to Galase, the cows are looking for new grazing areas due to the drought.

She stated that “When we are in a severe drought condition when they see water or green grass on the other side, the cattle will try to break that fence.”
