Milk price to jack up by dairy farmers’ up to Rs 178.60/LITRE

Milk prices increase by Rs 10 in Karachi

KARACHI: The dairy farmers association have announced on Tuesday that milk price per litre to increase, after the upsurge the cost per litre will be Rs178.60 to the customers in Karachi and Hyderabad.

According to the details, the price of milk has been secured for Karachi and Hyderabad.

However, the Sindh Livestock department said that the official statement will be given along with the announcement of the dairy farmers’ association.

The department has secured the per litre price for milk at Rs133 for Karachi and Rs127 for the dairy and the cattle farmers association has proclaimed that the new price of milk will be Rs178.60 per litre with a profit of Rs26.60 per litre, Rs19 fare charges per litre. The profit of wholesalers and retailers will also be comprised in the price of Rs178.60 per litre.

The dairy farmers association said that they will increase the price of Milk from November 24.

Presently, dairy farmers are selling milk at Rs 140 per litre instead of Rs 94 per litre against court orders.
