President Arif Alvi praises Bint-e-Fatima Foundation

KARACHI: Bint-e-Fatima Foundation started as small charity at home back in 2008 and now has been adobe for more than 100 mothers from Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, a statement said.

After 11 years in 2019, Bint-e- Fatima Foundation’s services were recognised and awarded by Nation Peace Award in the Presence of Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azaad and the award was presented by President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi.

Bint-e-Fatima Foundation encourages these mothers who are left by the beloved to live again with dignifying manner, as they used to in the past.

The foundation provides them with the feeling that they are still important part of the society, as they have been in the past by serving it as a teacher, doctor, nurse and finally as a mother.

Now in 2021, the government of Pakistan has again recognised the services of Bint-e-Fatima Foundation and this time awarded with “Peace Award” in the International Interfaith Peace Conference.

The ceremony was held at the Marriot Hotel Islamabad on November 24, 2021, where Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi awarded “Peace Award” to Bint-e-Fatima Foundation, which was received by Farzana Shoaib, president of the foundation.

The ambassadors of the European Union and other countries were also present on the occasion.

The speakers praised the services of Bint-e-Fatima Foundation director Asad Shoaib, who is assisting Farzana Shoaib in this project.
