This is the second time in two weeks that a three-star general has been formally given command of a key post.

Last week, COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa officially installed Lt Gen Nigar Johar as the “first-ever three-star female general officer” as Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps (AMC).
