He was talking to the media after the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the United Christian Hospital and the PPP at the Central secretariat.
The MoU was signed to provide quality health facilities to PPP workers at a 50 percent discount.
While responding to a question regarding the Lahore High Court’s decision for administering the oath of chief minister-elect Hamza Shehbaz, Murtaza said that the PPP welcomes the decision of the court. He praises the courts for playing a positive role for the supremacy of the constitution. He demanded that the decision of the court should be implemented because the biggest province of the country has been without a chief executive for the last three weeks.
He further said that the PTI does not understand the language of ethics, adding that the PTI doesn’t understand anything in a respectable way and they will not leave the governor’s house easily.
While welcoming the appointment of Bilawal Bhutto as foreign minister, Hassan Murtaza said that the PPP chairman will play his role in highlighting the positive image of Pakistan. He said Bilawal had immense goodwill in the world due to his mother, Benazir Bhutto, which would help him deal with international issues with world leaders.
