President Putin gathers a meeting to discuss social, economic situation

On Sunday, the Russian-Ukraine war entered its 54th day, with neither side exhibiting any signs of de-escalation.

Russian forces are claimed to be reorganizing in eastern Ukraine in preparation for a decisive fight, while Ukraine has admitted for the first time that it has lost 3,000 soldiers in the seven-week conflict with Russia. According to the Ukrainian armed forces, Russian troops are presently short by 20,000 personnel.

In the midst of Russia’s never-ending war with Ukraine, Russian President is conducting a Cabinet meeting to discuss the country’s social and economic predicament. The Russian President, speaking at the meeting, declared that the sanctions-based economic blitzkrieg approach had failed because Moscow had weathered unprecedented Western pressure. The “rate of ruble rate is back and stable”.
