According to reports, Vladimir Putin is “very unwell,” according to a former British spy who prepared a dossier on Donald Trump and claimed Russian meddling in the 2016 US presidential campaign.
Putin’s sickness is “an aspect” of what is occurring in Ukraine, according to Christopher Steele, who commanded MI6’s Russia station in London between 2006 and 2009 and served there in the 1990s.
“Certainly, from what we’re hearing from sources in Russia and others,” he told Sky News.
“It’s unclear if this sickness is incurable, fatal, or something else else. However, I believe it is a factor.”
In an exclusive interview with Sky News, Ukrainian Major General Kyrylo Budanov stated the Russian leader is critically ill with cancer and that a coup to remove him is underway in Russia.
Vladimir Putin’s health has been the subject of speculation for several years, but it has only grown since he authorised the invasion of Ukraine.
According to New Lines magazine, an oligarch close to the Kremlin has received an audio tape in which the Russian president is described as “extremely ill with blood cancer,” however the sort of blood cancer is not mentioned.
According to the report, the FSB’s headquarters sent a “top-secret letter” to all of the agency’s regional directors telling them not to believe rumours about the president’s fatal condition.
Mr. Steele continued: “When you see anything like that, you know it’s definitely real. As a result, I believe his condition plays a role in this and his legacy.”
