Kaitlin Armstrong’s father speaks out about the murder allegations against her.

In an interview that aired Tuesday, fugitive Kaitlin Armstrong’s father, Mike Armstrong, stated that he does not believe his daughter would kill someone, as officials have lately suggested.
Kaitlin Armstrong, 34, is accused of murdering professional cyclist Anna Moriah Wilson, 25, on May 11 at her Austin, Texas, home. Wilson, also known as “Mo,” was temporarily staying ahead of a cycle race at the time.
Kaitlin Marie Armstrong is being sought by US Marshals for the murder of Moriah “Mo” Wilson on May 11th.
In an appearance with ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Mike Armstrong said, “We love you, Katie, and we’re going to sort this out.” “I’m familiar with her. I understand how she thinks and what she believes, and I know she would never do something like this.”
According to FOX 7 Austin, an affidavit claims that Armstrong killed Wilson in a jealous rage after Wilson went swimming with her boyfriend.
According to the US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, Armstrong was arrested on May 17 by the Austin Police Department (APD).
On May 11, police responded to a 911 call from a home in East Austin’s 1700 block of Maple Avenue. Her pal was “bleeding and unconscious” at the site, according to the caller. When police arrived, they located Wilson with “several gunshot wounds.” Wilson was shot inside the Maple Avenue home, according to investigators.
During a gap in his relationship with Armstrong in 2021, he “had a brief romantic involvement” with Wilson while she was visiting Austin.
“She returned to California, and Kaitlin Armstrong and I reunited and restarted our relationship about a month later,” Strickland claimed. “Since then, I’ve seen Mo at several bike events, always in public. Following our brief romance in October 2021, we were just in a platonic and professional relationship.”
According to an obituary, Wilson was a competitive gravel bike racer and a 2019 Dartmouth College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering.
Wilson’s family said in a statement released Sunday that “no words can explain the anguish and suffering we are experiencing as a result of this needless, devastating loss.” “While we will not comment on the ongoing investigation, we believe it is vital to state that at the time of her death, those closest to her knew she was not in a romantic connection with anybody,” the statement reads.
Her relatives hailed her as a “brilliant, lovely, and kind young woman” who died before achieving “all she dreamt of.”
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to gather funds for neighborhood groups that assist young people “discover self-confidence, courage, and pleasure through bicycling, skiing, and other things Moriah loved.”
Armstrong is described as 5-foot-8 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes by US Marshals.
