
The United States Department of Justice said on Sunday that it is investigating the law enforcement reaction to the horrific school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
“At the request of Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin, the United States Department of Justice will conduct a Critical Incident Review of the law enforcement response to the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24,” stated spokesman Anthony Coley.

“At the request of Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin, the United States Department of Justice will conduct a Critical Incident Review of the law enforcement response to the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24,” stated spokesman Anthony Coley.
“The review’s purpose is to offer an unbiased assessment of law enforcement activities and reactions that day, as well as to identify lessons learned and best practices to assist first responders in preparing for and responding to active shooter incidents.
The assessment comes as the investigation into the law enforcement reaction to Tuesday’s massacre at Robb Elementary School, which killed 19 pupils and two teachers, intensifies.
