The two most visible possible areas of consensus in the Senate appear to be legislation encouraging states to enact red flag laws and background check reform.

Democrats in the House of Representatives are also demanding votes on a variety of gun legislation this week, including provisions to restrict high-capacity magazines and raise the age to purchase semi-automatic firearms.
