Hochul calls New York a “safe harbor” for women seeking abortions

• Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul claimed that the Empire State will be a “safe harbor” for those seeking abortions.
• However, voters will also be able to vote against former President Donald Trump’s nominees in November.

Democratic New York Governor Kathy Hochul claimed on Sunday that after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the Empire State will be a “safe harbor” for those seeking abortions.

Hochul also claimed that voters will have the opportunity to vote against former President Donald Trump’s nominees in November.

There will be a huge influx of people. This is our safe harbor, which I have declared,” Hochul remarked.

She stated that we are in New York. These rights will continue to exist. Three years prior to Roe v. Wade, we had access to abortions here.

“Although Roe v. Wade is now a part of state law, we are still looking for ways to make it stronger. Our suppliers were safeguarded. We’ve already granted them immunity.”

In addition, Hochul predicted that a key election topic in November would be abortion. She blamed Trump for approving three Supreme Court nominees during his four years in government.

They were Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch.

So, she stated, “I guarantee that all of these will be mobilized at the polls.”

This was the suffering of my generation—my mother’s generation—for my daughter, who is in her 30s.
