FIA registers case against former DRAP CEO Sheikh Akhtar
ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle Islamabad took action and registered a case against former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan Sheikh Akhtar Hussain.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the accused Sheikh Akhtar Hussain got the appointment of CEO based on a fake degree. The spokesperson of FIA said that the Ph.D. degree presented by the accused to get the job is fake.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the accused was posted as CEO of DRAP during the years 2018 and 2019.
The spokesperson of FIA said that raiding teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
Earlier, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Circle has arrested the accused of sexually harassing women on the pretense of modeling.
FIA spokesman said, the accused who sexually harassed her under the guise of modeling was arrested by Cyber Crime Circle Islamabad from Adiala Road Rawalpindi.
The spokesperson said, the accused used to post fake job advertisements on classified websites and pretended to be the owner of a modeling agency.
