Kia, the South Korean automaker, has recently unveiled the latest iteration of the Kia K5 in its domestic market, introducing a refreshed model of the popular vehicle almost four years after the debut of the 5th generation.

Design Updates and Pricing:

The 2024 Kia K5 is now available for pre-orders, with prices ranging from 27.84 million to 39.54 million won, featuring a host of design updates, including smaller headlamps, a dynamic daytime running light signature, a redesigned rear bumper, trapezoidal-shaped exhaust trim, and new alloy wheels.

Enhanced Interior Features and Technology:

Kia has introduced a next-generation entertainment system known as the “connected car navigation cockpit,” displayed on a touchscreen, along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The vehicle also comes equipped with a variety of new features, such as over-the-air updates, integrated video streaming services, and the Kia Digital Key 2.

Expanded Color Options and ‘Black Fit’ Package:

The refreshed K5 offers three new interior colors and two new exterior colors, along with a ‘Black Fit’ package that includes additional design elements like 18- or 19-inch wheels, a suede headliner, black-finished mirror caps, and a rear diffuser.

Performance and Engine Variants:

Beyond aesthetics, the 2024 Kia K5 boasts a revised suspension setup for improved ride comfort and enhanced sound insulation, with a range of engine options including naturally-aspirated petrol units and a hybrid option, all available with either a 6-speed automatic gearbox or an 8-speed auto transmission for the turbocharged variant.
