Nadra, based in Islamabad, has recently improved its service for urgent category computerized national identity card (CNIC) delivery, making it more efficient for citizens in need.
The announcement of this development came through a social media post by Nadra, highlighting a reduction in the delivery time for urgent CNIC applications from 23 days to just 15 days.
This change means that citizens who submit urgent applications can now receive their ID cards within a significantly shorter timeframe of 15 days, compared to the previous 23 days.
Despite this improvement in delivery time, Nadra has made it clear that there will be no alterations to the fee structure for the Urgent category, ensuring that the existing fees remain applicable.
As of March 2024, there is no change in fee of urgent category as it stands at Rs1,500.
As per the revised policy, it will just take 15 days for issuance of urgent CNIC.
