ATC announces death sentence on four counts over killing wife, others
KARACHI: The anti-terrorism court (ATC) sentenced the murderer of 4 people including his wife, step daughter and son to death 4 times.
The anti-terrorism court of Karachi heard the murder case of 4 persons including wife, step daughter and son.
In 2017, the accused killed his wife, step-daughter, son and brother-in-law during a quarrel. A case was registered against the accused under the provisions of murder and terrorism in Iqbal Market police station.
The court sentenced the accused Manan to death 4 times after being found guilty and also ordered the accused to pay Rs 300,000 as compensation to the legal heirs of the victims.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 300,000 on the accused.
Earlier, District and Sessions Court Islamabad acquitted Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) founder Imran Khan in two cases on May 9.
