LAHORE – Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the introduction of free home delivery services from model bazaars, aiming to make grocery shopping more convenient for the public.

In a recent statement, CM Maryam Nawaz highlighted plans to develop a user-friendly mobile app for online shopping from Model Bazaar. This app will simplify the shopping process, allowing consumers to purchase their groceries from the comfort of their homes.

Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz revealed plans to transition model bazaars to the environmentally friendly Green Punjab Solar model. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint of public markets.

Additionally, the Chief Minister announced a comprehensive plan to bring affordable, high-quality produce directly to communities. Over the next year, model markets will be established in every district across the province, ensuring wide accessibility to fresh produce.

During a recent meeting, Nawaz emphasized the importance of maintaining low prices in these markets. “We need to make sure fruits and vegetables are sold below market rates in these stores,” she stated. Her objective is clear: to benefit the common man by offering the best-quality produce at affordable prices.
