BEIRUT: Naeem Qasim has been appointed as the interim leader of Hezbollah after the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah.
A month after the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrullah, the Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah has elected Naeem Qassem as its official leader.
Naeem Qasim was Hassan Nasrullah’s deputy for a long time and after Hassan Nasrullah’s martyrdom, he was made acting head of the organization, while he had previously been a member of the Hezbollah Shura Committee three times in a row.
After the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrullah, there was a strong possibility that his cousin and son-in-law Hashem Safieddine was elected as the head of Hezbollah, but Safieddine was also martyred in an Israeli attack a few days ago.
It should be noted that Hassan Nasrullah, who was the Secretary General and head of Hezbollah for a long time, was martyred in an Israeli attack last month.
Earlier, Lebanon’s Hezbollah confirmed that Sayeed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in Israeli airstrike in Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Earlier, Israel bombed the southern area of Beirut, the Lebanese capital, and in this attack, two people were martyred and many were injured.
In the last 5 days, this was the most powerful bombardment of the Israeli army on Beirut, 4 buildings were damaged in the Israeli bombardment of the southern town.
