ISLAMABAD: Seven more survivors of the Morocco boat tragedy have returned to Pakistan and repatriation operation is expected to be completed soon.
According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), human smugglers who sent Pakistanis to Morocco have also been identified as raids were being conducted to arrest them.
The FIA said that three of those returning are a resident of Gujarat and one Mandi Bahauddin, while those returning include Hafizabad, Gujranwala and Sialkot.
According to the FIA, Mandi Bahauddin’s Shoaib Zafar was sent to Morocco by an agent named Usman and human smugglers Ali Raza is involved in sending Mudassar Hussain of Gujarat.
However, a human smuggler Usman is involved in sending human smugglers Fadi Gujjar, Hafizabad Asif to the sending of Azir and Imran Iqbal of Gujarat.
Earlier, The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has conducted a raid hotel near Jinnah International Airport Karachi and arrested three human traffickers.
FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle personnel raided a hotel near Airport Chota Gate on Shahrah-e-Faisal and detained 7 persons, including 3 identified as human traffickers.
According to the authorities, four of the detainees are travelers who were paid huge sums of money by human traffickers to send them to Iraq and were planning to send them abroad.
