Ahsan Khan breaks silence on ‘Dayan’ drama earnings

Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan recently shared details of his payment for the popular drama ‘Dayan’. In a market dominated by romantic stories, ‘Dayan’ stands out with its revenge driven plot. The drama is currently a hit with viewers featuring Mehwish Hayat and Hira Mani alongside Ahsan Khan.

‘Dayan’ has taken a surprising turn captivating audiences. Mehwish Hayat has made a strong return to television through this series. Despite some similarities to ‘Star Plus’ dramas its dramatic flair is well received by the audience.

Ahsan Khan portrays ‘Zawar Shah’ the antagonist responsible for Mehwish Hayat’s character ‘Nihal’s’ struggles. Ahsan Khan a leading figure in Pakistani dramas for three decades continues to be a prominent star.

In an interview with Urdu Point he disclosed his fee for ‘Dayan’. Ahsan Khan stated he charges millions not hundreds of thousands, for each project. He explained that fees vary based on shooting days and episode count.

For ‘Dayan’ which had lengthy episodes, he worked for approximately 80 days. Ahsan Khan revealed he received Rupees 10 million for his role in the drama.
