LAHORE: A viral YouTube documentary has made serious allegations against internationally known fashion designer Mehmood Bhatti, showing a pattern of false information, misuse of law, and fake claims. Featuring all sides and supported by proof, the video has started a big public discussion.

Originally planned as an inspiring story, the documentary took a sharp turn after finding differences in Mehmood Bhatti’s story. A major discovery is a land fight with his brother, senior lawyer Munir Bhatti, over land on Multan Road.

Munir Bhatti, who has been a working lawyer since the 1970s, helped his younger brother Mehmood Bhatti go to Paris for higher education, as written in Mehmood’s own life story.

Mehmood Bhatti in his book, Paris main Dusra Janam, admitted that in 1987, he willingly gave a general power of attorney to his brother. He stayed quiet until 2002, when he took the matter to the Revenue Court before the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue)—and lost. Even after this, he did not take any more legal steps for the next 20 years.

In 2021, over 20 years later, he filed a new case saying he didn’t know the land had been given away—a claim that goes against both the 2002 court decision and his own book. This raises questions under the Limitation Act and shows possible court misuse.

Mehmood Bhatti’s life story confirms the land was with his brother and includes shocking confessions: stealing, fake documents, sex rackets in Paris, and running away from Pakistan in the 1970s to escape arrest. He also writes that he cut ties with his mother—but now says he is building a charity project in her name. The video points out this opposite statement.

In older interviews, Mehmood Bhatti said he lost both parents in childhood; in another place in his book, he says he was adopted.

In recent interviews, he supports open relationships—ideas that go against Islamic beliefs. Mehmood Bhatti is facing strong reaction for his shocking and disrespectful words, with religious groups taking action and giving official fatwas against him. This further hurts his honesty and adds to the growing public anger.

The documentary also proves Mehmood Bhatti’s claim of owning most of the National Defence Hospital is false. Legal papers show he owns a small, questioned share still being checked in the Lahore High Court because of unpaid money. Hospital workers confirmed he has no role in running or owning the hospital, even though he keeps claiming it in public.

In another book, Reincarnation of Another Kind, he even admitted being a male sex worker, giving sexual services for money, asking for more, and later leaving those involved. He tells a story where he was caught by a husband and beaten, which made him promise to stop seeing married women again.

Another charge—a Rs. 130 million hospital robbery—was rejected by Punjab Police, Civil Court, and High Court due to no proof. The courts said the case had no base after Mehmood Bhatti failed to give receipts or papers.

The video also says Mehmood Bhatti used the media to create public pressure, using threats and fake news. His charity claims have no proof—no registered groups, public records, or official checks. At the same time, his current wife has filed a case against him for abuse, raising more doubts about his honesty.

It also raises bigger questions: how can unproven stories spread so fast, and how are national awards given without proper checking?

It ends with a strong reminder: Truth is not what someone says on TV. It’s what can be proven.

This documentary tells people to look past headlines—and ask for proof, not just drama, when searching for truth and responsibility.

In a new YouTube documentary, Mahmood Bhatti rejected all allegations against him, claiming that he was targeted for serving orphans, the poor, and the helpless, and asserted that no one can stop him from continuing to serve orphans and the underprivileged.
