
Rawalpindi: On the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, the Armed Forces of Pakistan have extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to defending the homeland, upholding the Constitution, and protecting national values.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it was emphasized that Independence Day symbolizes national unity, resilience, and a shared vision for a brighter future.
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu paid rich tribute to the founding fathers of Pakistan.
They acknowledged the inspirational leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the unparalleled sacrifices, and the unwavering belief in the goal of independence that paved the way for a free homeland.
The ISPR stated that the Armed Forces salute their leaders, strategists, and brave soldiers whose unforgettable services have ensured the defense and survival of the motherland.
The statement further asserted the Armed Forces’ firm resolve to uphold the Constitution and protect the core values that form the foundation of Pakistan’s national identity.
Highlighting the unbreakable bond between the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan, the ISPR described it as a cornerstone of national strength and a guarantee of the country’s integrity and progress.
